Our club Gold Festival was held Labor Day weekend and it was a huge success. We had a great turn out with a total attendance of 449 people, some seasoned prospectors and many looking to get started. Demonstrations were given with a dredge in the creek and a highbanker set up on the bank. The panning troughs were full of folks looking for their first gold find and many did. All the vendors were very happy with their sales and contacts. One thing was for sure, people on the east coast states are just as passionate about finding gold, as the folks on the west coast.
Please go to the "club pictures" section to view some great photos from the festival. A special thanks goes out to Denise Moody, Lora Lowder and John Washam for providing the pictures.
